Stan and I got a great Christmas gift this year,after many many years of wrestling with this crummy little house,what to do with it,where to go,we were actually in Escrow for another home here in Vallejo when the Mortgage company sent us FINALLY...and only after all the law suits had been filed for all the bad mortgages that were being dealt with an offer to drop over 200,000.00 and give us a mortgage for the amount that the house is worth,a very reasonable mortgage payment and then not having to uproot the kids and us from the neighborhood where they know best. SOooooooooooooooooooooooooo finally.......the house is ours again,still,whatever...it only took 5 yrs of fighting for it?and now we can move on with the remodel. We are going to add on a bedroom for one child,a master bedroom for us and a master bathroom. Get the house to where we wanted it when we originally purchased it 7 yrs ago. In this case,it paid off to wait and fight for what we wanted. We will keeo you all updated as well progress with all that,this will take some time as all things do,but we are going to get started with the heat and insulation and a paint job and a dishwaher soon as possible.
